Good to know
Which scanners work with it?
Almost any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner works with no setup, along with Android handheld scanners and the camera on any phone or tablet. Your existing product barcodes work too.
What happens if the Wi-Fi drops?
Scanning keeps working. Check-ins, check-outs and moves are saved on the device and sync automatically, in order, when it reconnects. Each one is counted exactly once.
Can different departments keep their own counts?
Yes. Each warehouse, store or department is its own location with its own stock. You choose which locations each person can work in, and the office sees them all.
Who owns the data?
You do. Your inventory lives in a database in your own name, and you can export it to a spreadsheet at any time, including if you leave.
How do we move over from spreadsheets?
Send us your current list. We import it, add barcodes for anything that doesn’t have one, and print your shelf labels before go-live.
What devices does it run on?
A Windows desktop app, any web browser on Windows or Mac, and Android and iPhone devices, which can add it to the home screen like an app.
Can it print barcode labels?
Yes. Print barcode labels on Avery 5160, 5163 and 5167 sheets with any printer, or on thermal label printers. ShelfTrackr creates a barcode for any item that doesn’t have one.
Is it a fit for small businesses?
Yes. Software-only plans start at $99 a month for 1 to 5 users. Complete 5-year packages with handheld scanners, printers, setup and support start at $95,000 for larger operations.
